I was shortlisted for the 2018 African Writers Award, an award organised and hosted by African Writers Development Trust, for my fictitious short story titled “My mother’s 4th pregnancy”.

Albeit, at the award ceremony held on December 1, 2018, at International Conference Centre, Abuja, Nigeria, winners emerged. See the winners here: http://www.writerstrust.org/2018-african-writers-award-winners/
I’m happy that I’m making progress not only in my journalism career but also in other spectrum of writing such as the competitive short story writing.
I thank my Chi and all the spirits that I’m connected to/with by Heart, Blood and Spirit. I especially thank my family members and also, friends and well-wishers who have in one way or the other supported me and most importantly, never lost hope in me.
